Meet the Men and Women behind SaluteUS.org…
John Joseph Jamason Founding Member/President, CEO Viet Nam Veteran for the United States Marines  John Jamason, alias, John J., joined the Marine Corps in 1969-1971. John served with helicopters during the Viet Nam War at Marble Mountain, north of DaNang with the Aviation Supply Unit, 3rd Marines. His story in combat is very similar to all those who experience such trauma, and of course, he prefers to forget most of it. Diagnosed with PTSD he was honorably discharged, therefore his initial thrust for SaluteUS.org was to address directly the devastating ripple effect PTSD has on the lives of Veterans and their families. John’s experience with death was real, from picking up mutilated bodies to seeing his comrades severely injured and traumatized. John carried these images and the emotional baggage of his experience over the course of 10 years, which disrupted his life and those he loved. He persevered despite the obstacles, and managed to build several successful companies with his incredible vitality and persistence to live the American dream. His war experience and entrepreneurship backed with years of hard, hands-on work and solid business marketing savvy, has helped John’s drive and passion to make SaluteUS.org a reality. His primary directive? That no Veteran or loved one of a Veteran is left behind.
John J. wants to hear from America, and his wish is that Americans send their love to their Veterans through SaluteUS.org. He plans to actively engage in all activities and eventually go on the road to help the homeless Veterans we have forgotten while working with America to build this site into what America needs.
