SaluteUS.org exists to be the Veteran Connection – the online resource for Citizens to help Veterans, and where Veterans get help, period. Below are just a few of the our key projects that we plan to pull into action as we build this site into what America wants it to be! So, Americans…Veterans, Citizens and Businesses, let’s show the love! Love for our country, and those who serve it! DONATE NOW to help us get these projects on the move, and sign-up today to provide feedback and so we can stay in touch with you. · Online Veterans’ Forum – for United States Veterans to have their own private area to connect with each other, share stories, and find and help each other. · Online Veteran’s Medical/Health Discount Store – There are so many needs Veterans and their dependants have, in particular the Veterans who were injured in combat. We want to be able to provide free and discounted items that help our disadvantaged Veterans and their families. · US Citizens’ Spirit Store – This will be our key spot to bring spirit gear to the people, bring back the pride in our country, while saluting the ones who serve us. Proceeds from this store will support our cause, and help the businesses who provide us with the products to show their love for our Veterans. · VetTherapy Online – This is will be our premier online service! The founder, John J., has a deep passion to help his fellow Veterans and their dependants receive direct and private help for PTSD and related effects that ripple through all Veterans and their families as a result of service to their country. John J. believes that this service will be the first step to assisting those who are suffering and get them back on track to experiencing the freedom they fought for in the first place. · Citizens’ SALUTE page – Buy-a-Salute program, where Citizens can purchase a salute icon of a serviceman saluting and put their own personalized message on it. This will go on a special Citizens’ Salute Page online to honor Veterans. For just $5 you can post your online Salute! · VetDirect Assistance – online applications for Veterans and their dependants to describe their situation and specific needs so we can start providing the DIRECT emergency assistance. SaluteUS needs to know the needs, then will have a way to connect with Citizens and corporate America to communicate the needs and get the financial or direct assistance needed. These applications will take some time to review, but everyone will be contacted after they are reviewed in order they are received. · VetMentors – This program will focus on helping disadvantaged Veterans and their families recover and get on a positive career track. SaluteUS.org will work with businesses to provide mentorship and skills training. · VetMedReferral – SaluteUS.org will partner with other non-profit organizations to ensure that requested assistance from our site can be attended to. SaluteUS.org needs service organizations to help build this referral network to get Veterans and their dependants the help needed. If you are a non-profit community service organization that provides health care and related services to the community, please contact us for partnership opportunities. · Corporate SALUTE – We vow to salute the companies in America who salute our our Veterans. This section will be devoted to the special events and programs that are sponsored by those who fuel the country that was fought for: Corporate America. If you represent a company who would like to investigate our unique sponsorship opportunities, please contact us today. We vow to honor those who honor our Veterans and are open to creative ideas. · VetTown – a long-term vision of founder, John J. Eventually, SaluteUS.org will venture out and call on corporate America to provide the needed land and facilities to provide housing, training and counseling to all Veterans and their dependants. One hard reality of the effects of combat to Veterans, is many are need of housing and the Counseling and Career Training necessary to get back on track with their lives. SaluteUS.org wants to pull them from the trenches of homelesses and depression and show them their country cares. John J. asks that developers, land-owners, construction companies contact him directly now to start sharing in the vision.
